Vail Resorts is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our Online Marketing team based in Broomfield.

The SEO Manager is a newly created role that will report to the Director of Interactive Marketing and is responsible for initiating and managing the optimization of Vail Resorts websites including Snow.com, Buzz.Snow.com, Vail.com, Breckenridge.com, BeaverCreek.com, KeystoneResort.com, and SkiHeavenly.com. This position will support all SEO initiatives to improve organic traffic for Vail Resorts domains. The SEO Manager will be an expert in search engine optimization with a thorough understanding of the technical and creative aspects of website optimization best practices.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Serve as an in-house SEO expert and team lead
-Develop and maintain SEO strategy and project plan
-Lead and prioritize all SEO projects within Vail Resorts
-Lead and prioritize site architecture, content and linking projects
-Work with all content creators to make sure all SEO best practices are being adhered to on all customer-facing marketing messages or relevant landing pages.
-Work with 3rd party vendors on SEO Strategy and other projects
-Initiate and lead organic traffic projects from concept to completion
-Initiate and lead SEO expertise to product plans including site redesigns, product enhancements, and new site features
-Track and report organic ranking and monthly keyword searches
-Track SEO traffic levels and report the success of SEO initiatives
-Report monthly SEO KPIs (key performance indicators)
-Research and develop new SEO projects
-Collaborate on content projects such as Twitter, Facebook, and other social-media related efforts as they relate to SEO
-Stay on top of current search engine news, trends, SEO best practices, and emerging items of interest and sharing these with the rest of the team
-Participation in creating white papers, POV’s, blog posts, or industry thought leadership.
-Share SEO best practices with internal teams and various stakeholders

Qualifications

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 to 5 years experience working in search engine optimization with experience in web production, marketing and or development
-Proven track record of successful SEO strategy and implementation.
-Experience with keyword search, ranking and analysis tools
-Familiarity with online SEO resources, tools, blogs, forums and professional organizations
-Experience with technical aspects of SEO from optimal site architecture to proper coding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience writing optimized web page content, META titles and descriptions
